Data Safety Summary
This page summarizes the current Android app data behavior for Google Play review and users.
Current app release
The current Android release does not include advertising SDKs, Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, or third-party usage analytics SDKs.
Data processed locally
The app processes network diagnostics data on the device, including Wi-Fi signal details, network identifiers available from Android, IP/gateway information, DNS and HTTP test results, appliance pairing settings, local scan history, and generated reports.
Data shared by the user
Users can intentionally share diagnostic text or PDF reports through Android share actions. Shared reports may include technical network data collected during diagnostics.
Appliance communication
When the user pairs the app with an Infracheck Appliance, the app sends requests to the appliance URL configured by the user. This can include the appliance admin token and diagnostic/configuration requests.
Cloud collection
The app does not send diagnostic telemetry to an Infracheck cloud service in the current release. Contact form messages submitted on the website are separate from app diagnostics.
User controls
Users can remove local app data by clearing app storage or uninstalling the app. Appliance data is controlled on the self-hosted appliance by the operator.
