Network troubleshooting

Find whether the fault is Wi-Fi, DNS, WAN, HTTP, LAN, or the device.

Infracheck gives home users, small offices and support teams a repeatable workflow for diagnosing intermittent network problems with device-side checks and optional local appliance evidence.

Core troubleshooting signals

  • WAN: latency, packet loss, jitter, download/upload speed, and internet reachability.
  • DNS: resolver availability, response time, domain resolution, and DNS baseline changes.
  • HTTP/TLS: external web reachability, HTTP latency, and TLS expiry checks.
  • LAN: device inventory, new devices, missing devices, gateway identity, and host notes.
  • Wi-Fi: signal, band, channel, roaming behavior, and phone-side validation.

Why a local appliance matters

A cloud-only monitor can miss local symptoms. The Infracheck Appliance runs inside the local network, so it checks what the site experiences from the LAN. The InfraZoom Android app checks what the user's phone experiences at the exact location.

Support outcome

Instead of guessing from a single speed test, users and support teams can show health score, alerts, inventory, DNS/HTTP results, WAN quality, and a PDF report with timestamps and recommendations.

Learn about the local appliance or read the Wi-Fi workflow.

Language availability: the Android 1.6.0 interface is available in English, French, German, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese and Italian. The Windows app and Infracheck Appliance interfaces are currently available in English only. Multilingual Windows support is planned for a later release. The Romanian website is available before a Romanian Android interface is released.
